By installing or using TermPlainly you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What TermPlainly is

TermPlainly is an informational document-explainer app. It reads documents you upload and returns:

• a plain-English summary,
• a section-by-section explanation,
• key dates / money / obligations,
• unclear or risky terms it identifies, and
• suggested questions to ask a lawyer.

2. What TermPlainly is not

• Not a law firm.
• Not legal advice.
• Not a substitute for an attorney.
• Not guaranteed accurate.

TermPlainly does not form an attorney-client relationship with you. For any legal decision — signing a contract, filing a complaint, responding to a notice, anything — consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable use

Do not upload documents you do not have the right to share, including documents covered by a confidentiality agreement you are not authorized to breach, classified government material, or other people's personally identifiable information beyond what is minimally necessary for the analysis.

4. Purchases and credits

• Purchases are made via Apple's App Store StoreKit.
• Credits are consumable digital goods. They are spent when an analysis runs and do not expire in regular use.
• Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple per the App Store refund policy.
• If an analysis fails for a reason on our side, we refund the credits automatically.

5. Availability and errors

We provide TermPlainly on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change. The underlying model provider may return incorrect, incomplete, or out-of-date information. You are responsible for independently verifying anything that matters.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TermPlainly and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on a TermPlainly analysis. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us through the App Store in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via the app's Settings screen and the "Last updated" date above.
