Frequently asked

My upload says "no extractable text"

The document is likely a scanned image. TermPlainly can only analyze documents that contain real text, not photos of text. Try opening the PDF in Preview and using "Export As" → text to confirm, or upload an OCR'd copy.

My document is over 20 MB

The upload limit is 20 MB. If your PDF is larger, try exporting it at a lower resolution or splitting it into sections.

I bought credits and they didn't show up

Open Settings → Restore purchases. Apple occasionally delivers the transaction to the app a few minutes after the charge clears.

I want my data deleted

Uninstalling the app deletes the local install ID. To also remove any analyses we have stored server-side, email tony@medbillresolve.com with the install ID shown on Settings → Account and ask for deletion. We'll process it within 30 days.

How accurate is the analysis?

TermPlainly uses Anthropic's Claude model. Results are generally good for consumer-grade documents (leases, NDAs, offer letters, ToS), but the model can miss things or misread scanned text. Every analysis screen shows a confidence indicator and suggested questions to ask a lawyer.

Refunds

App Store refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If an analysis fails for a reason on our side, we refund the credits automatically.
