TermPlainly is an iPhone and iPad app that reads a document you upload and returns a plain-English summary: a short TL;DR, key points, unclear terms, dates and money, and suggested questions to ask a lawyer.

How it works

1. Pick a PDF or DOCX document using the iOS file picker.
2. TermPlainly uploads it securely, analyzes it, and returns results.
3. Your raw document is deleted from our servers within 24 hours.

Privacy

No accounts. No email or phone number required to use the app. No analytics or ad SDKs. Your document is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis and is not used to train their models. Read the full privacy policy.

Pricing

TermPlainly is free to install. Analyses are paid for with consumable credit packs purchased through Apple's App Store. Short documents cost about 1–5 credits; long contracts about 15–30. Credits never expire. There is no subscription.
