Privacy Policy

Signlit ("the app") is built so your documents and signatures never leave your device. This page describes the limited data we do and do not collect.

Data we do NOT collect

• The contents of any PDF you import, scan, sign, or export.
• Your signature image or any drawn ink.
• Your name, email, phone, address, or any account information — Signlit has no accounts.
• Your device's contacts, photos, calendar, or location.
• Your IP address (analytics events are batched server-side without retaining IPs in a person profile).

Data we collect (anonymous, opt-out)

If you leave "Send anonymous usage stats" enabled in Settings, Signlit sends product-interaction events to PostHog (a third-party analytics provider) so we can understand which features are used and where users get stuck. These events:

• Are tied to a random anonymous device ID, never to you personally.
• Carry counts and outcomes only — never document titles, body text, signatures, or file paths.
• Can be turned off any time in Settings → Privacy. Once off, no events leave the device.

Storage

PDFs you import or scan, your saved signatures, and the placement metadata for fields are stored inside Signlit's app container on your device, protected by iOS file protection. iCloud backup is governed by your device's backup settings — Apple does not let us inspect or alter that.

Subscriptions

Signlit Pro is purchased through Apple's StoreKit. Apple is the merchant of record. We receive only the anonymous transaction status (active / lapsed) — never your payment details.

Children

Signlit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
