How does the free trial work?
Every install gets 7 days of full Pro features for free, automatically. No payment, no card, no cancel-before-7-days drill. After 7 days, RoadBinder switches to the free tier (1 vehicle, 1 driver, up to 5 documents). To keep Pro features, subscribe to RoadBinder Pro from the paywall.
Is RoadBinder an ELD?
No. RoadBinder is a document organizer and reminder system. It does not log Hours of Service and is not a substitute for a certified ELD. For HOS compliance, use a 49 CFR Part 395-compliant ELD.
Is RoadBinder DOT-certified?
No. RoadBinder is not certified, approved, or endorsed by the FMCSA, DOT, or any state agency. It helps you organize records and remember expirations — it doesn't replace official compliance review.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions, then choose RoadBinder Pro and tap Cancel. Apple handles all subscription billing — RoadBinder cannot cancel on your behalf.
How do I restore a subscription on a new device?
In RoadBinder, open Settings → tap "Restore purchases." Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you bought on.
Where are my documents stored?
Inside RoadBinder's app container on your device, protected by iOS file protection. Documents do not leave your device unless you explicitly share them via the audit-packet export.
Do you support Canada / EU / international?
Not in v1. RoadBinder is currently US-only. Document-type categories (annual inspection, IFTA, BOL, etc.) follow US conventions.
