RoadBinder ("the app") is built so your compliance documents and records never leave your device. This page describes the limited data we do and do not collect.

Data we do NOT collect

• The contents of any compliance document, inspection record, PDF, photo, or scan you store in RoadBinder.
• VINs, unit numbers, license numbers, medical card details, or any other field you type into the app.
• Your name, email, phone, address, or any account information — RoadBinder has no accounts.
• Your device's contacts, photos library, calendar, or location.
• Your IP address tied to a person profile (analytics events are batched without retaining IP-to-person mappings).

Data we collect (anonymous, opt-out)

If you leave "Send anonymous usage stats" enabled in Settings, RoadBinder sends product-interaction events to PostHog (a third-party analytics provider) so we can understand which features are used and where users get stuck. These events:

• Are tied to a random anonymous device ID, never to you personally.
• Carry counts and outcomes only — never document content, VINs, names, or file paths.
• Can be turned off any time in Settings → Privacy. Once off, no events leave the device.

Storage

Documents you import or scan, vehicle/driver/trailer records, and inspection logs are stored inside RoadBinder's app container on your device, protected by iOS file protection. iCloud backup is governed by your device's backup settings — Apple does not let us inspect or alter that.

Subscriptions

RoadBinder Pro is purchased through Apple's StoreKit. Apple is the merchant of record. We receive only the anonymous transaction status (active / lapsed) — never your payment details.

Children

RoadBinder is built for professional truck drivers, owner-operators, and fleet administrators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.

Availability

RoadBinder is currently available in the United States only.
