RackTimer — Privacy Policy

RackTimer is a local-first gym utility. Your sets, templates, and notes stay on your device.

What we collect

RackTimer uses PostHog to see which features are useful and which need work. We collect anonymous events — screen views, feature taps, and crash reports — tied to a random per-install identifier. We never collect your name, email, Apple ID, or the contents of your logs, templates, or notes. No ads. No App Tracking Transparency prompt.

What we store on your device

• Your preferences (unit, default bar, timer presets) in UserDefaults.
• Your logged sets, templates, and notes in a local JSON file under the app's Application Support directory.
• Apple's StoreKit receipts for the Lifetime Unlock purchase.

Deleting the app removes this data.

StoreKit / In-App Purchase

When you buy the Lifetime Unlock, Apple (not RackTimer) processes your payment and issues a receipt. We never see your payment method. Apple's privacy policy covers that transaction.

No tracking, no ads, no sharing

RackTimer does not track you across apps or websites, does not request the App Tracking Transparency prompt, does not show ads, and does not sell or share any information with third parties.
