Pet Passport is built to respect your privacy. This page explains in plain language what the app does and does not do with your information.
Nothing. Pet Passport does not collect, transmit, or share personal information of any kind.
The pet profiles you create (pet name, species, breed, birth date, optional microchip ID, optional rabies vaccine date) are stored in the app's sandbox on your iPhone or iPad via Apple's standard UserDefaults. They never leave your device. If you delete the app, the data is removed with it.
Pet Passport offers a one-time "Pro" upgrade through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Purchase and entitlement verification happen entirely through Apple. Pet Passport does not see your Apple ID, your payment method, or any personally identifiable purchase metadata. Restore Purchases uses Apple's AppStore.sync() API.
None. The app has no analytics SDK, no advertising identifier use, no crash-reporting service. Our PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking: false and an empty NSPrivacyCollectedDataTypes array.
None. Pet Passport does not integrate with any third-party service.
Pet Passport is intended for adults arranging travel for their pets. We do not knowingly collect information from children; in fact, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If we ever change what Pet Passport collects, we will update this page and the App Privacy nutrition label on the App Store listing before the change ships. Material changes will be called out in the app's release notes.
