Privacy Policy — PaperShelf

Last updated: 2026-09-13

This policy describes what data PaperShelf ("the app") collects, stores, and shares. It is written to match the App Store Connect App Privacy nutrition label exactly. If this document and the nutrition label ever disagree, the nutrition label is wrong — let us know at support@medbillresolve.com.

What the app collects

PaperShelf does not collect document contents, OCR text, or titles on our servers. Documents stay on your device unless you export them. Apple processes In-App Purchases.

What the app stores locally

Document images, OCR text, titles, and categories are stored locally on your device (SwiftData / app sandbox).

What the app transmits

No document images, OCR text, or titles are transmitted to developer servers. Purchases go through Apple StoreKit only. Share Sheet exports only when you choose.

Third-party services

No third-party analytics or AI SDKs in V1. Apple frameworks only (Vision, StoreKit, etc.).

Permissions we request

Camera (scan), Photo Library (import), Face ID (optional app lock).

Your controls

Children

Not directed at children; no Kids category.

Changes

We'll update this page when the data we collect changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes (new data types, new third-party services) will also prompt an in-app notice on next launch.
